Architecturally Integrated Panels

Two technologies are offered for architectural integration:

  • Semi-transparent photovoltaic panels

Made in glass/glass or glass/tedlar, photovoltaic panels are used to provide shade.

By adjusting their transparency through the spacing between standard or semi-transparent photovoltaic cells and the choice of glass or tedlar backing, this panel can be used for glazing, light admitting apertures in industrial and residential buildings, and as veranda roofs…
They can be custom made in sizes up to 2,40 x 1,30m, and a thickness of 25mm.

  • Thin-layer panels: ASITHRU and ASIOPAK by Schott Solar

Used in the same applications, thin layer panels provide a more neutral background and transparency. These panels are available in double and triple pane glass.

This is a superb product for the façade of a building where it can limit the amount of summer sunlight entering on the building and still generate electricity.
